The Airgunner Challenge
Season 1

The NEW American Airgunner Challenge is a reality-style competition that pits 6 of the top airgunners from around the world against each other in 10 shooting challenges! Shooters will use both skill and strategy to knock down and explode various reactive targets with a multitude of airguns up to .50 Caliber. All competing to win a $25,000 in cash and prizes and be crowned the 2020 American Airgunner Challenge Champion!

Competitors

Brian Lanseigne

Brian shoots for Sig Sauer and has been shooting airguns since he was 7. The American Airgunner challenge was his first airgun competition! Brian loves to hunt the Wisconsin woodlands and farms for small game and shoots airguns because it brings him happiness. What sets Brian apart from other airgunners is that he is proficient with all shooting platforms from a rifle, shotguns, airguns, archery, airsoft, paintball, etc.

Ian Harford

Ian shoots for Air Arms and has been shooting airguns since he was 11. Ian has competed in a variety of airgun competitions over the years, mainly in field target and hunter field target disciplines. He’s also won a significant number of soft toys and teddy bears at carnival shooting ranges in his youth. Some of these were very large and impressive.

Eydin Hansen

Eydin shoots for Umarex USA and has been shooting airguns since he was 5. He competed in the Pyramyd Cup in 2019 and made the finals in the Benchrest competition. His greatest achievement as an air gunner is “Introducing people to air gunning and using them to hunt wild game ethically.” Eydin was awarded the military expert in small-arms marksmanship with the M-16 rifle and the Military Service Star denoting expert in small-arms marksmanship with Military issued handguns.

Joe Brancato

Joe owns Top Gun Airguns and shoots for Zbroia. He has been shooting airguns for over 20 years. He has competed for several years in the EBR and RMAC. What sets him apart from other air gunners is that Joe is a natural. He doesn’t practice long hours of the day. In fact, he rarely does!

Ted Bier

Ted shoots for FX Airguns and has been shooting airguns since he was 8. He has competed in several airgun competitions, including the EBR (1st, 2nd, & 3rd), PA Cup (1st gunslinger x2 yrs, RMAC (3rd), & the TO100 (1st x2). His greatest achievement as an air gunner is “convincing his wife that spending $2k is a reasonable investment in his happiness.” Ted loves to hunt the Wisconsin woodlands and farms for small game and shoots airguns because it brings him happiness.

Tom Adams

Tom shoots for Daystate Airguns and has been shooting airguns since childhood. He has competed in both the EBR and RMAC and has placed well in both! His greatest achievement in air gunning was “opening the eyes of everyone that said it “couldn’t be done” in 2015 when he set the new time records (in practice rounds) and took 2nd place in Sportsman’s class Speed Silo using a magazine-fed air gun, the FX Wildcat.”
