AirForce Airguns Texan vs. Texan SS
In this installment of Rossi’s Reviews, we’re taking a look at the Texan SS and Texan from AirForce Airguns for a side by side comparison. The Texan SS may put out less foot per lbs. but it makes up for that in its ability to be accurate and quiet. Watch the full review below!
The Texan SS can give you up to 400-foot pounds of muzzle energy out of a compact size. Compared to its older brother, the Texan SS is just over 45″ in carbine length while the older version is around 48″. But within that compact size, AirForce also added a fully-shrouded barrel built Sound-Loc System technology.
The AirForce Texan delivers more power than any other production air rifle: .45-caliber bullets leave the muzzle at 1000 fps (up to 500+ ft-lbs. of energy). Load, cock, aim, squeeze and deliver jaw-dropping power. An entire world of hunting opportunities has just opened up to you.
